At Super Accountants, we offer tax preparer or we can work with your CPA as needed.
What is the difference between a Tax Preparer and CPA?
Tax preparers and CPAs assist people with their taxes and provide financial guidance. A tax preparer is a finance professional who prepares and files taxes on behalf of other individuals and companies. Tax preparers can represent your company with the IRS for returns they have filed. A CPA can represent the client for any tax return regardless of who filed the reports. This generally is only needed in the event you are audited by the IRS for previous years filings. CPA or Certified Public Accountant education and primary focus are publicly traded companies, therefore, you may be over paying when working with a CPA depending on the complexity of your organization.
